Controlling a pioneer AVH-P4150 DVD from the steering wheel

Hi guys

 

Got a question for u all.

 

I just linked up a pioneer AVH-P4150DVD with an original audio system mounted on the steering wheel.

 

Everything works and if I'm playing a CD, I can skip to the next track from the steering, but I can't skip track when I'm using the USB and I cannot skip to the next radio station either.

 

Is this normal? Or do I need to bring the car back to the installer?

I'm using the same controlled from steering wheel.

 

Using USB / ipod i can change tracks from steering no issues.

 

As for radio, it doesn't change to the next station rather it tunes to the next freq - eg. 93.8 -> 93.9

bro..how is the connection done to link to the steering wheel control? Interested to find out...

With the Scosche steering wheel control? I think most installers could get this done.

The installer (Chuan Sing) had to add in a controller board (hidden) to enable this function - this board costs an additional $200+ if i remember correctly...
