Donut Supercharged June 16, 2009 Share June 16, 2009 wat kind of vacuum cleaner u used for yr aircon? it has to be a really good filtration system coz aircon dust are always very fine particles. it will go through the vacuum cleaner's filters and blow out into the room, if the filtration is not good enough. i think even HEPA filters are not good enough for air con dusts. Doosan 1st Gear June 16, 2009 Share June 16, 2009 is good to DIY, but certain things we can't ! now aday, aircon system consists of too many electronic components. besides cleaning of air filter elements, other parts also requires checking/inspection. to me most important procedure is right from the begining- installation procedures. generally, people think that i paid thousands for the aircon you know...... so what ? this is generally the technicians who are doing the installation think. installing split 3/4 system, you wud xpect 3/4 of them with tools, drill etc knocking/drilling your wall. get them cold drinks, assist them little here and there. tell them don't worry as you shall sweep and clean up, they hv to complete the job within the day, 1of them may hv to go provide back-up help to another team some where nearby. when lunch time, get them 20buck for them to go lunch, you don't bribe them. you appreciate their hardworks, you don't see them till next warranty service. or after warranty, should any problem arise, they remember your kindness.... after all, we are human with feeling/ love/ passion........ if jz rub rub here, touch touch there and OK, no more aircon shops liow . I plans to get a steam cleaner, but couldn't decide between Karcher and Roman, which would you recommend? But how do you use the Karacher SC 952 steam cleaner to clean your sofa and beds? can't tie a cloth to the nozzle for cleaning the bed, right? Will_I_Am 2nd Gear June 16, 2009 Share June 16, 2009 I had one for 1.5 yrs already. Not recommended for lazy bums, coz it's a chore getting it ready for use and cleaning it up after that. I use it once a week for my weekly household chores - vacuuming, mopping + steam cleaning together. Once you see the thick coat of dust inside the filter, you will realise how dusty your place is. R u recommending it coz u r selling it or r u recommending it coz u r currently using it?
