7seater Clutched June 16, 2009 Author Share June 16, 2009 Thanks for your replied. If the frequency is set lower than 70Hz, what will be the effect? Will the bass tight or lost somewhere? You mentioned cut off at 70Hz, are you saying to set at 70Hz? Because the woofer has a knob to turn in the range of 50Hz to 200Hz. The turning range is estimation only. Hope you can share more. 7seater Clutched June 16, 2009 Author Share June 16, 2009 80Hz~100Hz, is the setting range for best bass effect?
Jamesc Hypersonic June 16, 2009 Share June 16, 2009 The lower the range you set, the tighter the bass will be. However from an 8 inch woofer you wont get much bass at 50. So you can try and set at 50 to 70 for tight bass but it will be quite soft. Then try setting at 80 to 100Hz if you need more volume.

7seater Clutched June 17, 2009 Author Share June 17, 2009 (edited) Thanks bro. Will do some testing with the given range. Does increase bass on the headunit make significant difference? Can do something to the box to have tight bass? Edited June 17, 2009 by 7seater
7seater Clutched June 17, 2009 Author Share June 17, 2009 (edited) Thanks. I thinks so. Should not expect much from 8" sub. Can do something to make the bass tight and strong. The woofer is Pyle Red. Does doing something to the inner box matters. Prefer tight bass. So called solid Edited June 17, 2009 by 7seater ↡ Advertisement
