I had in fact replaced the spark plugs before taking photos of the old ones for advice, as I had already bought the new parts before I removed the old spark plugs. I've hoped to seek some useful advice from helpful bros whether the old ones ought to be replaced strictly based on the replacement schedule, although they had not been giving me troubles, so that I could make better decision when faced with similar dilemma in future. In fact, after the replacement, nothing has improved apparently, except perhaps peace of mind.

Glad to know you already changed to a set of new spark plugs. Just follow the replacement interval in future. And yes, you're right, it doesn't improve anything. At most, restores the original performance of the car in terms of engine response and fuel economy. But just bear in mind, sometimes not spending small money on minor maintenance or stretching such maintenance may lead to big money on major repairs.

In this case, old spark plugs may already not be firing well, coil plugs work extra hard to support the old spark plugs, leading to premature failure of coil plugs. Coil plugs cost much more than spark plugs. Get the idea now?
