Noelleon69 Clutched June 17, 2009 Share June 17, 2009 But seriously it is really so damn easy to change the plugs. Just go search youtube and can find video teaching you how to change. It is almost like using a screw... who don't know how to screw? Unless you telling me you don't know how to use a screw or wrench then I've nothing to say :)

Yeobh 4th Gear June 20, 2009 Share June 20, 2009 Actually doing it for the first time is difficult, if you are not hands on type. There are guys on first attempt break the spark plugs ceramic coating and are some who get cross threads when trying to install the new plugs. getting yr hand hurt /cut is quiet common. As for spark plug sockets there are many types available in the market to meet different types of engine configuation and spark plugs mounting. Generally there are three sizes of spark plug socket - 10, 12 & 14mm. Some french engines now comes with 8mm spark plugs and they required use of long thin walled special design socket. Kiario04 1st Gear June 20, 2009 Share June 20, 2009 Mustafa sell all the tools needed. think u guys can go DIY shops & look for some tools - got sell in package. price ranges from 10 bucks to 100++ depending on size & quality & no. of items. i bot mine ~$15 complete with everything :) then add in a few wrench keys from Daiso ... worth the whole investment as i can use the wrench for alot other purposes ... keeping them away fr my dad coz he always forgot to put things back n losing a few items here & there, which make things difficult when want to do servicing ... think better buy him his own set rather than keep borrowing fr me n me keep trying to tidy up the place
Noelleon69 Clutched June 25, 2009 Share June 25, 2009 anyone of u guys know where can i get the tool for opening spark plugs? Autobacs have... but can't remember how much. Think $7?
Rosschang 1st Gear June 25, 2009 Share June 25, 2009 I think u can get it from a decent hardware store, or scrapyard... Autobacs are pure... hmmm... expensive?
Yeobh 4th Gear June 25, 2009 Share June 25, 2009 Very cheap DIY tools are just like goods designed for first timers and have very short usage time. They get twisted, break or wear out very fast some even on the first day of usage. You can get used tools in Sungei Road Thief market but not in scrapyard. ↡ Advertisement
