Kurty Supercharged June 15, 2009 Share June 15, 2009 bro, i driving a savvy manual. take my word, if possible, don't go for auto.. no doubt the auto is good but maintenance is high. Renault parts are exp, very exp. beats its 1.2 class. after 2 mths of driving a savvy, it's a good car with speed, looks and stable. but this 2 mths, also chaotic for me.. spend changing ignition coil, and now, steering leakage. which is a must change for all savvy... after that, should be ok liao.. all depends on luck. Kurty Supercharged June 15, 2009 Share June 15, 2009 Any auto car gearbox spoil replacement will be very expensive.. so have to pray auto gearbox dun spoil. Savvy auto is actually a semi-auto so can be a bit jerky at low gears.. have to experience it to see if u can tahan it.. yeah, best if you can find a 2nd hand savvy that still got warranty.. true, savvy regardless of auto or manual, is very jerky especially at gear 2. but this does not mean the ride is faulty, it's because of the TDC sensor is dirty. After you clean it, you won't feel anymore. Well, savvy is a combi of proton and renault. if you stick to renault parts, it will kill you.. for proton, you can find cheap deals at jb. compare to the other makes/rides, it is a cheaper alternative. no problem in performance either, my pick up can beat a EX. haha, using only RPM 3, the highest i hit was 140km, the car is still smooth and stable. oh, neither did i mod my car, just change K & N airfilter. that's all, everything else was stock but i'm not a speedster.. i put P plate, and always drive 60km / 90km in SG

Kurty Supercharged June 15, 2009 Share June 15, 2009 oh, that car. it caught my eyes in 2 mths back for what i know, is more than meet the eyes. The boss of that shop also damn cocky also. try this: http://www.sgcarmart.com/used_cars/info.ph...393&DL=1000 good, fully mod and low mile. But too bad, it's a manual. Wasted, i bought mine too soon, or i would get it. for manual savvy, price is around $12 to $13k depending on condition and mileage. If auto, $13k is considered a catch. But for such a 1.2 car, a manual helps. can't deny when jam at causeway or jb, i wish my car is an auto.. half clutch until leg can cramp..

Kurty Supercharged June 16, 2009 Share June 16, 2009 Kurty wat color your savvy got some pic to share I see before Savvy got sunroof if cannot get 2nd hand may get a new one is there an option for sunroof? mine is an apple green. ermm, try not to take/post pic of the ride.. not so good, after i took it.. within a week, my ride got ignition problem and now leakage.. you know.. superstitious if you going to buy a new ride, i rather you for go Myvi, haha. somemore got sport version but price still steep. try the car that i posted from sgcarmart, it's a good car. considered the low mile and fully mod. just look at that open port. wee wee but if you were to drive up north, you should be able to source for the same parts at a lower price (due to conversion), right? yeah, you are right bro. for all repairs and servicing, it would be better to drive up north after all, you are an experienced savvy driver. really keen to meet you up to share your past experience. well, just an update. i managed to win my case with proton sg. they call me up this morning and willing to do a replacement of pressure switch. i just need to pay labour cost of $80, which is still cheaper than buying a new place. so far, they manage to clock the new ignition coil and now, the pressure switch for me. despite the fact, my warranty is over. well, really appreciate that sort of service. every company can make business, it's the special way of handling customers that makes them going back to the company. ↡ Advertisement
