You're welcome to have a seat in the car - no problems at all [thumbsup]

Yup its a really nice silvia Colin, but am sure youll have alot more memories in the new toyota.

I had wanted to ask ya a few questions but was too shy so I ended up just standing next to ya overhearing the other guy ask questions lol

( was that big guy next to ya taking photos with sunglasses at the pit )

I think it was worth it plopping the huge amount to rebuild the engine, but I guess selling it is hard due to all the maintenance required for the aftermarket "top secret" parts. [lipsrsealed]

lol me too.. i went totally the wrong direction went to the back entrance..

The guards made me walk one whole round back all the way to the main entrance..

You shouldent regret getting the grandstand ticks..

The view from the grandstand looks good u are able to see the whole layout of the track..

If only we can stand where all the photographers are standing.. (Beside the Grandstand..)

they had excellent view of the 370 challenge.. all i saw was a 370 hiding behind some boxes.. was still fun tho..

The commentator was hilarious tho.. haha

lol same ! in fact , i thought the grandstand was where all the photographers were !! (obviously since paying 30+ bucks)

yeah the whole layout can be seen.. but its just not what i expected i guess.

who was the commentator ? >.<

Supercharged

Tengku Djan came in first,

he's really a class above the rest.

Hope next year's event can be scaled back up,

and feature some pros from the states.

.... I am letting go of my ride already and going to get a family car.

So this will be my last public performance of drifting ....

Wouldn't that be a shame? Giving up serious drifting?

Over the last few months, I've been doing some reflection of my own. I've not really been performing well at all at the competitive level.

Street drfting demos like those you saw at police academy and breast cancer foundation charity drift, along with the past Kallang and Singapore Expo drifts have been fine but when it comes to tight courses like those of FD where HUGE concrete walls are there to meet the doom of the drift cars, then I've been under-performing during those times.

At the end of the day, mine is really just a street car that enormous drifting potential in it and I am afraid to wreck the car.

I wish I was as fortunate as some of the other drifters who didn't really have to worry so much about their cars and could really put full focus into the competition.

That is true. I was having a discussion with one of the other overseas' drifters about cost of cars. Theirs were really cheap. The skyline they had cost only SGD 6,000.

For me, I've been drifting my one and only car, that is also needed for use on a daily basis. I've had to balance cost of ownership, cost of modifications, and of course put aside money for both family and savings. So a lot rides my mind when I drift.

The S15 is one expensive car to carry on as a personal drift machine in SG on a competitive level, and with so much holding me back, I've come to realise that it is going to take a small miracle to make what you've said become reality for me.

I've had my fair share of fun over the last few years at the events that I could perform at my best. I hope the people enjoyed themselves

it's a shame for you to quit, we don't have many drifters as it is.

maybe you can consider getting a cheap not-registered-for-public-road-use-solely-for-drifting car...

Wow, after reading this, I do think that you are really indeed very skilled as you are pushing an everyday car hard as a drift machine. Keeping the car comfortable while still fully prepped for competitive drifting is really no easy task. Fantastic job and all the best for you new vehicle.

It was fun while it lasted :)

And a practical decision made based on priority and limitations.

Good luck and also thanks for the well done final performances these two days.
