Road Hoggers love them or Hate them?

Main problem is ego and unsure of the road speed limit. For ECP its ironic to implemented the 90kmh limit,It should at least 95-100 in my opinion.Once again there's no point in high beaming or honking others in singapore. It only shows how inexperience and impatient you're on open roads..Remember if you think he the road hoggers doesn't own the road that goes for you too.So what if you're driving a ferrari you still have to abide by the rules here.

Hmmm...I am not quite sure how I should read you...

If you think that it's "ironic" that the speed limit on the ECP is just 90km/h, then what can you say about drivers who persist on driving at that speed in the overtaking lane?

Even though we don't own the road (ah kong does - we are just renting), why should we "suffer" just because of these road hoggers?

Like I said before - nobody is forcing them to drive "fast" and break the law but they also cannot force us to drive at their pace...

actually sometimes i am guilty of road hogging but dont know if it really hogging because i am doing like 100-110 on lane 1 with traffic on lane 2 and once in a while someone will come along and tailgate with repeated high beam..

normally i will try to move aside but if sometimes i am feeling gui lan especially if its a car that is super zeng on the exterior. will hog the lane at 100 cos i feel they are stupid to tailgate a suv cos they cant even see what's in front

Just give way to faster vehicles. We know that SUVs are very big. So what about it? Join LTA if you have a problem with "super zeng" cars or join TP if you like to enforce the speed limit so much.

The rule of the game on our roads is

stop complaining

once you have flouted the speed limit, you are in no position to accuse others of road hogging

those who are too stupid to understand this rule are probably those drivers with bad driving records, demerit points and history of accidents

stop complaining please, stresspore is like that, we will not give way, if you don't like it here, switch to public transport or emigrate elsewhere

how long have you been driving on our roads?!

stop whining, for goodness sake, and get on with life

if you don't know the rule of this game well, just stay out of this game, cos you will be miserable playing it, understand?

i find it pityful for those whiners who cry foul and vent their frustration on those so-called "road hoggers" who refuse to give way to them, seems to me that there are no other avenues to help them seek redress and they can only whine here all day long, poor thing

didnt i mentioned i normally give way? also big means sometimes u cant do anything about it even if u want to, especially during heavy traffic.. lol

but i only have problems with zeng cars only when they like to tailgate me when there is someone 3-4 car length in front of me.. but then again, i shouldnt even bother because sometimes they tailgate till i cant see them (cars like this comes once in a while)..

i am a big fan of tp ever since they bring me to court for doing 100 at lim chu kang rd.. but thanks for the advice however i dont think i will join them..

yes, this is the reason why cyber heros pop out.. no venues to vent frustrations

anyway driving should be fun and relaxing.. if got proper time management and route planning dont really need to rush for time, of cos once in a while there will be urgent needs so i guess that can be forgiven provided its not reckless driving..

well..instead of whining here

why don't they just convince the traffic police that road hogging is dangerous and the tp should clamp down hard on road higgers?

wow, attended court...so i guess many here needs to learn from you.

Who are you to decide if someone else is in a genuine rush or not? Just give way if you're slower, still want to talk so much to justify your selfish act.

Wait till it happens to yourself.

Certainly. Although there is a time and place for this.

Not in lane 1.

Not in peak hour traffic.

TP do book motorist who road hog. You never see before ? And road hoggers poses dangers to others especially those who take outer lanes. Why ? You are forcing fellow motorists to over take you from the left. Overtaking should be done on the right. I cannot imagine motorists all over the shop overtaking from left and right at the same time. Very dangerous.

If you are slow, move to the slow lane. The road does not belong to you alone. Stop causing frustration. Simple job, just move-in and dont't be selfish always thinking you are right.

Can you imagine if a driver driving at 40km/h in front of you on the expressway, blocks and hog you and tell you he did not break the road limit and stayed within limits is no fault of his and his rights.

lol happen to me? just overtake, then everyone happy.. dont need to tailgate

anyway, i didnt say i like to road hog, so please dont jump to conclusion saying that i am selfish or rather "who are you to decide if someone is selfish" lol.

u sound like a very red and angry person, so this is my last reply to you.

goodbye.

cheers

I was chatting with this guy yesterday, he said he kena "bullied" along TPE.

He claimed that when he was driving 85-90-85-90 along the first lane during the peak office hour, 2 cars poked his back, he dun wan to give way.

When ask him why dun he give way? He insist that 85-90-85-90 style of driving is according to the traffic rule, if someone high beam him is that person's fault.

In my heart I'm thinking wha lan eh, so these kind of people actually exists....
