Do any know where can I buy the air-con filter for Sylphy? I got some from taobao but it is not compatible for Singapore model, maybe China model air-con is different.

i use to get from a guy that sell in nissan car forums when i was driving latio.  You may want to call him up and check if he got the model for latest Sylphy.  If you need it, PM me for his contact.

It comes with the car but normally changed between 20k to 30k.

Last time i changed every year for my latio as it is quite cheap to get from the forum guy and he do installation as well.

You be surprised how black and dirty the air con filter is and you are breathing every day when driving the car if you dont change at recommended service intervals.

Yes, it comes with filter. I just reached 10,000km so thinking of changing the air-con filter but the one I got in from taobao can't fit in.

pretty new to owning a car. When send car to TC for service, realise we can't see or know what they have done  [:p]  So even want to ask them question like where the filter is fitted or others, I doubt able to ask. Ever asked, they didn't tell, only say when time to change we can change for you.

Anyone tried to install a baby car seat? I have one that needs to hook to an anchor point but I cannot find a single one. The car manual says that it should have 3 anchor points at the back - one for each seat.

i believe you are referring to ISOFIX, they are not fit in singapore model to my knowledge. Please check which baby car seat you can fit our car before u purchase the baby car seat.

Supercharged

Bought an early 2010 Sylphy several months ago. There's what look like a circular holder at the left side of the front passenger footwell. Anyone know what it's for? TIA.

The child lock is to prevent children from opening the door from inside, but our car does not auto-lock when it move and pick up speed. Unlike the G9 Corolla and the old Sunny, which come with the auto-lock.

This OBD auto-lock ( I got online) will auto-lock all doors when car is around 10 to 15km/h, if you use your remote to unlock your car doors and did not open any door within a given time, it will auto-lock the car again.

This OBD also comes with alarm, which is too sensitvie for my liking.

Ok, I didn't try the remote without the ODB. Only try the remote after I fixed the OBD auto-lock.

Hi..can I check with you then do u remove the auto lock module when going for servicing and then install back after that? Will it void warranty? And can the alarm sensitivity be adjusted? Tks. Edited by Peterblack

So far I didn't remove it when I went back for servicing, not sure about the warranty void. No the sensitivity cannot be adjusted. Maybe there is a way, but I did not want to open it.
