Skyline Neutral Newbie March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 hi all, I just collect the 2.0 model, bought it second-hand. I was wondering if any of you guys knows if the engine is still using timing belt or timing chain. Is it timing chain for the 1.5 engine too? 2009 model. ↡ Advertisement

Latioboy 1st Gear March 4, 2010 Share March 4, 2010 I drive with rpm between 2k to 2.2k which speed is about 90 to 110km/h. Good enough for SGP road use. Usually I plan my route and time so no need to rush from pt A to B. :) This car currently run with RON95 fuel. Mayb RON98 will be better. :) Woah bro your cruising rpm so good? My rpm @ speed 90-100 km/h is about 2-2.3k. my rpm at 100 onwards is 2.5 liao. why ah? i only changed muffler to semi flow.

LoL I prefer to do my homework first before I do any decision. The most headache question is whether to buy 1st hand or 2nd hand (07 model) . I prefer to go for 2nd hand car but abit worry abt the car's health after 3 yrs.

Angcheek Hypersonic March 8, 2010 Share March 8, 2010 I find sylphy more exec look but not as sharp as Ex or Altis (even the 08 vios looked sharper) . Personally I think it dont go well with 17" rim. The thing I find really out for place is the airconn vent. Really super old design. Somehow the new facelift doesnt seems to have much changes. It still looks very much like the older model isnt it? btw, Anyone can feedback on the audio quality ? thanks
