Hi, it depends on the mileage u are at. Checked with Nissan customer service before. My last service was 20k, if the new user servicing at 50k also OK.

My Nissan Sylphy next servicing is 80k km. Is more than 4 years car

Hi, left 2 A and 1 C packages. Checked today. 80k servicing will be package C followed by A. B will need pay.

Is this a good car to get second hand for a new driver? Looking at bang for buck (no need to be cheap for the sake of it) + safety + reliability + low fc. 

Comparing with vios/ suzuki swift/ honda fit/jazz.

It's bigger than the others you're comparing. The main features of the Sylphy are the following.

1. Lavish interior space. I have 2 baby seats in the rear and can still fit a smaller female adult in the centre if necessary.

2. Big boot space. It's very useful if you have strollers and stuff to transport around.

3. Reliability. I'm not sure exactly how to rate this, but I have only owned Nissan cars so far because they tend to be reliable.

Cons

1. FC is around 12-15km/l. Depend on how you drive. It's not a big deal to me, since I only drive mostly in the weekends.

2. CVT gear. It's not the most fun of gearing due to lag.

I don't know if it's suitable for new driver, as the overall size may take some getting used to. However if you have to ferry family members, it's probably a very suitable transport.

Anyone has information when TC is going to launch the new 2020 Sylphy? Got into an accident and total loss of my 2015 Sylphy.

Lucky, I only have a small abrasion on my left hand from the air bag. I considering of either getting the new 2020 Sylphy, Toyota Altis, Honda Civic or the Kia Cerato.

Hi, I'm using 17" rims at the moment. it depend on you, 16" will save abit more

fuel compare to 17". Unless you use a light weight 17" wheels.

i am selling off my Nissan slyphy 1.6 (2015) model, I am intending to sell the following items

 

1) magnetic shades (four pieces- 2 front & 2 rear) bought it last year for 80 plus. Willing to let it go for 60 dollars flat.

 

2) trunk waterproof mat. 20 dollars
