Krieger 5th Gear May 31, 2009 Share May 31, 2009 (edited) Dear Wolve, I understand everyone of us here have the rights to post what one wish to . But in this case, my view is that it is too much. I see no link in how the Tiananmen Incident has to do with this picture of two student/demostrators. I think we should give them our due respect in showing their valour in standing up for democracy rather than them in such a sad ending. Seriously, i find it very rude and offensive for you to put up this picture... trying to tell people how the Chinese gov treated their people? There is a lot of unknows and reasons why these things happen. I sincerely hope the moderators will take out this tread. Sturtles 6th Gear May 31, 2009 Share May 31, 2009 (edited) Obviously, like little peasants all over the world, the only dared to move into action because of foreign backing. And this is precisely why western papers forever harp on this issue, to appease chinese students who have taken part, and these are actually pretty capable chinese. How would you feel if your son whom you gave food and pretty good education for the past 20years, in the prime of his life, decided to not only elope with his wife, because they psychoed him that this yellow hair punk did the world ultimate injustice, but also incited your other sons and family to hit out against you? Using a shotgun on him is wrong, but the puppeteer behind is not lesser of a devil Edited May 31, 2009 by Sturtles

The_Bear Turbocharged June 1, 2009 Share June 1, 2009 given the state of China in 89', would u imagine the anarchy the country would have descended into if the communist party was overthrown? Look at the Russians for example. The crackdown was brutal but given the situation, it was necessary to say the least.
