Blackyv Turbocharged May 31, 2009 Share May 31, 2009 ok,,.. if i have a few avi clips, total size is just 2+G, from my son's birthday party, how to burn it into a 4.3G dvd dics??... i did try to do it but after dont know what i click, it converted into a VOB format and the size is extremely large... 100+Mb of avi converted into a 1G+ vob file..... err... so, any way or how or what software i need, to just simply burn those 2G+ avi into a 4.3Gdvd dics so that i could view it from dvd player??... ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

VOB format is to convert your video clip into DVD format. If you want the filesize to be the same, you copy it as data. But if you do that, you can only view it if your DVD player can plays DivX. Alpha78 6th Gear May 31, 2009 Share May 31, 2009 VOB is the DVD format, if you take a DVD and put it in a PC you will see some files with the .VOB extension. As the other bros mentioned, burning as data the size will remain the same, just that your DVD player must have the Divx capability to play the files. In your burner software, for the media type, select DVD, but the data type, select data, not DVD.
