I was told a bigger capacity battery help but not grounding.

to me, those are hazards... i came to know a audio installer, who dont have it in this ride....

Most of the modern ride had groundings done...

so far, grounding has proven to make my car aircon colder probably by 1 degree C; i used to turn to 23 / 24, but now only need to turn to 24 / 25.

happened to both my current & previous rides.

other is probably brighter headlights.

for current ride, my engine brake in 6-speed manual mode (for cvt) feels 1 gear less draggy (i.e. engine brake on 1st gear feels like 2nd gear after grounding)

the rest like smoother idling, quieter idling, better sound quality fr ICE & improved acceleration / performance i did not notice / feel.

Supercharged
(edited)

just installed VS recently fr CWxxxxxx (that guy who was given a yellow card for posting his sale of VS) - noted engine starting 1-2 cranks lesser, batt voltage up by 0.x, even slightly colder aircon (now can turn to 24.5 to 25 deg c instead of 24 after grounding), engine notes sounded smoother from idling to 5+k rpm but no increased performance, ICE bass slight improvement. i can't explain these gains but only think there's something electrically different.

some can say above is rubbish but at least i'm truthful about no performance gain by installing such a product.

i have also just install raizin but is chiong type with HKS grounding.. only $60

the difference i notice after install is that

- enigne started much faster then before, almost like instant

- The audio indeed sound nicer, unable to explain but it indeed improve

- Headlight is obvious much brighter

- Gear change seem to be much smoother(use to encounter like when gear change, you can feel the rpm go down then lag for less then 0.5 second before the rpm goes up again, but now its like instant gear change no lag feel)

- FC did improve but very minimal, maybe i can feel the smoother of the car now so tend to step lesser)

- engine noise goes down abit also.

Was skeptic to install this kind of devices in my car, but for $60 feel just go for it.. even don't work only $60 wasted

Grounding always work, even when you have a brand new car.

This is because the battery's -ve terminal is connected to the chassis. Chassis is a rather poor conductor of electricity since its made of steel and not copper (or at least aluminum). Hence using a better conductor (copper wires instead of steel plates) improve the current flow and lower resistance. Thus lower voltage drop, esp. when current flow increases.

Grounding can make engine start faster, brighter headlights etc.....

For your case, I don't think the voltage actually increases (beyond what the alternator can produce) but more of a reduction in voltage drop.

Also, I have yet to research on why AC becomes colder but its something I did notice from numerous people.

I already explain on how VS improves audio quality.

Engine sound smoother is probably due to improved ignition. VS does help in ignition.

It works for me and better than typical VS.

2 cables to do the wonders and my 1.5L car is more responsive..

My personal experience is that grounding seems to be more useful than VS.

Yes, grounding alone is better than VS. But grounding + VS is even better.

mayb i didnt phrase it correctly - wat i meant was dip in voltage when aircon cuts in not so low. as i've used orig batt for 1.5yr, now batt (b4 install VS) dip lower to 13.1V wen aircon kicks in; now can stay at higher volt like 13.5V, engine runnin time voltage = 14V (same as b4 VS install).

brighter headlight did exp on prev ride but not this one (mayb didnt bother to notice), but i know fr start my car ground cmi cos aircon not cold unless adj to under 23 deg c.

after ground can remain 24 deg c, now VS helped improve by one notch up adj (24.5 deg c) n even 25, but to prevent auto circulate outside air, i sw back to 24.5 deg c.

for me my engine brake during manual mode (mine's a cvt) less draggy after grounding, no further notice after VS install.

Yes, grounding alone is better than VS. But grounding + VS is even better.

However, I do note that it drains out my battery power quite often. [laugh]
