Haha I just like that it sits lower and wider than the GTI....it just looks awesome la...gives me a great feeling when sitting inside

My friend said he asked the agent and they said it will be here by March at a price of under 140k. Not sure if this is confirmed info.

PI rough quote for Roc R is around $10K above normal 2L roc. the current price i got is $112K for full spec 2L roc with 250 hp chip up. same spec as vgs.

if you wanna get the Roc via PI, my advice is to check and compare prices with the local dealer before taking the plunge. IMO, the price difference should be at least $10K before it's even worth considering. the DSG gearbox is mighty exp to replace so in case something does happen, the savings will have to be used to repair the car if the PI drags its feet in honouring warranty.

$10k above the normal 2 litre is cheap considering its using the Audi S3 engine(my friend told me) compare to the price of the S3.

and the Scricco look much nicer than S3 in my point of view.

But S3 is 4wd. I believe rocco is not.

 

If u want to compare a more linear comparison would be R20 Golf vs S3.

I don't think it will be priced ust $10K above the standard 2.0 version

 

My view is it will most prob be around $15 to 20K above, considerng the R has

 

1) A fiecer bodykit all round and different exhaust

2) 19" rim and tyre

3) chip up to 260bhp

4) bigger brakes
