Those who are considering to buy a Scirocco like me may consider this bodykit and rims. You'll definitely look better than the rest of the Sciroccos with this. They don't come cheap though. It'll be at around $4K, but it very durable as to what I've experienced in my ride for the past 4 years. Check it out.

You do realise for people who owns a mini one, or a Scirocco, depreciation is not a big factor. So in literal sense, they blissfully ignore the OMV and Markup figures.

 

And your point about having the car being 'not nice if it is everywhere' makes no sense because it is crystal clear that you are arguing for the price to be lowered. Wouldn't that then encourage the car to be 'everywhere' then?

 

Actually, this is presents a dilemma for VW Singapore since they need to make sure the pricing of Scirocco should not kill off the other models in their stable. The one in danger could be the Eos. Coupe cabriolet it may be, but the Scirocco is still more visually appealing and I believe a better drive.

 

u are right. actually i just post here after a trip to VW intending to buy the scirocco 2.0T. but all the factors deter me ( it is not the facelifted version than is in production now). but no doubt the 1.4 will defininately sell well at 89K which many can afford and its going to be a common sight on our roads.

 

btw i own a mini too and i still prefer the feel of it than scirocco.

89K is after the 2K discount during the special launch period. It's being extended, and not known when it'll end.

Apparently not. Oettinger bodykits are widely used by VW owners. Able to cross almost all the humps without touching the lip. However, due to it's rubberised base, it'll not affect the bodykit much when scratched. I've scratched mine, my car got towed by tow truck, but so far, it's still as good as new since I first bought it. :)

Ic. Didn't notice that earlier. The interior is actually identical to the EOS, but at least the exterior looks much better than any of the VW models. ;)

Also, if the VW price is so special, does that mean the PIs are not trying to push the 1.4 since they probably cannot outprice VW?

Sometimes, launch price is such a gimmick. If demand is still good, they will simply extend it for a few more weeks. Golf's launch price only lasted for a week I think.

Been reading all the raves about this car in top gear prior to its debut in singapore, but if you want more information, there's a scirocco forums online also

 

btw, they call that color "viper green", imho seems to be the only right color for this car hahaha

VAG needs to push out as many ROC as possible before the GTi launch in July.

The Scirocco, Passat CC and Golf GTI was launched simultaneously in Malaysia. pretty cool cars, all of them.
