Any IT gurus?

Hey i kwow this is a car forum but im lazy to set up an account on other forums. so hoping i could get a reply before i really have to go through that hassle.

 

anyway i have been playing wc3 (dota) on bnet and on garena on my computer for sometime. after which i got a laptop and i started to use it quite often. the issue now is BOTH my laptop and computer cant log into bnet and it takes forever to log into garena. even when it logs in i cant join any rooms. anyone know what the issue is?

nope. its all wired through a dsl router.

 

and i dont think its the issue w opening port cause i cant connect to bnet! also not the issue w wc3 cause both my com and laptop have the same issue? i guess its the modem or firewall. but i dont know where to look into.

i dont play wc, but do you have peer guardian or any other p2p blockers? try disabling them for the duration of the game.

did you try setting one of ur PC/laptop into ur router's DMZ?
