Yuan 6th Gear May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 ok, but i guess the ride wouldnt be as comfort after change. Once you change to coilovers, your suspension won't be as comfortable as stock. The dampers (depends on the brand and type of coils you are getting) can be adjusted to something or somewhere similar to what you previously had with stock but still will not be as comfortable as the stock suspension. Alternatively, you can consider changing to better shock absorbers.
Qr25vet Clutched May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 bro roll cage is not LTA friendly. Better make sure people know about it. If its not welded on,Dosent have the Horizontal Beam across the cabin and if its wrapped around with foam...its okay...this one is a grey area... Agreed...I would rather change to stiffer shocks alone rather than dropping the ride height together with it as many of them cant get the spring rate and the dampings matched...which is y the car is so uncomfortable and bouncy... So_nice 6th Gear May 15, 2009 Share May 15, 2009 i dunno if strut bars make alot of difference to the car as mine comes wif both front and rear when i bought it. but certainly, front and rear ARB helps. previously any hard cornering gifs the car a feeling tat its gonna phew but wif both ARBs on, its much more stable and it just goes the way u want and stay firmly on course during ur corners. in short, i haf 5 bars..front and rear strut bars, front and rear ARB + room bar. but actually, wat the hell does a room bar does huh? i just install because it was cheap and a fellow make kaki was dekitting.. Mikeyeo Clutched May 15, 2009 Author Share May 15, 2009 Bro, make sure u got the real UR. Lots of replica on the market... Advice to everyone - Try not to get the 3pt front strut bar... The 3pt front strut bar tore through the firewall/chassis and into the centre console of the cabin. Everyone, including the track marshall, was stunned... Hi 'B0ss', the one I installed is the genuine one. It comes with a warranty card and the strut bar serial numbers. I also registered the strut bar with the manufacturer online. The latter also acknowledge receipt of my submission.

Its only slightly firmer than stock at half e setting(30 settings). drove for a few days n finally settle wif no.27 settings. I am on coils with both height and damper adjustable. Sightly more firmer and stable than previously on stock suspension with all the strut bars. I think coils are a worthy set of investment.

I am quite surprised that there are quite a lot of people who did not see the importance of the shocks or changing to better shocks upon the stock ones up the lorry. However, certain shocks can give more firmer and bumpier feel even with stock springs depending on the brand and type of shocks. Of course, they cannot be as compared to coils.
