Neutral Newbie

just to add, these are not actually clones.

before bell & ross became mainstream, many brands already came out with such Pilot watches.

they mimic the aircraft gauges, designed it for pilots because of it's simple readibility.

the watch in this link uses a very reliable swiss movement (ETA 2824-2), that is used in many other luxury swiss brand models.

a well known workhorse movement.

even the actual bell & ross also uses this movement in some of its models.

Agree with you, bro Kraft.

My aim here is just to point to serious watch lovers of cheaper alternatives with identical movements from branded marques.

Sadly, there are people here who just talk more than they know....always jumping at first sight to discredit these lesser-known brands. Sigh :(

Actually, not so much as a discredit. But for most, at least to my knowledge, who buy luxury watches. Worksmanship is one of e key factors which they look at, movements of coz being e most impt. E finishing of e materials used also counts.

But of coz if u r looking at it from a workhorse/affordability point of view. Den yes, these watches r supplying to niche mkt of such buyers. But pls do realise tat when u r talking abt watches, heritage/prestige usually takes precedence over practicality, so u cant blame them for sounding "snobbish".

Sure, it's the same Jap cars/Korean cars comparison. If you put a Kimchi engine into a Sushi car, people will still flock to the Sushi car even if it's selling at a premium.

As you can tell, my post is not aiming at these "snobs". Just like to share with like-minded brothers here with some value-for-money timepieces.
