Osiris 1st Gear April 28, 2009 Share April 28, 2009 if u intend to change rims, for stream need to consider the offset which is +55. many change to +40ish rims and when full load kenna tyres on the wheel well unless u roll fender personally, gave up looking for correct offset rims. sticking to stock
Gizmo Clutched April 28, 2009 Share April 28, 2009 Offset of rims +55mm is much prefered. But the market of rims of this offset is rare. If available ,not be the design that suits you
Blueegg Clutched April 28, 2009 Share April 28, 2009 Yeah, have seen too many Streams with aftermarket rims protruding from the wheel well. Makes them look like 4x4s. LoL.

Sbtyong 1st Gear May 4, 2009 Share May 4, 2009 Yeah, have seen too many Streams with aftermarket rims protruding from the wheel well. Makes them look like 4x4s. LoL. May I ask What is offset? What is +40? +45? +50? Does it mean that the smaller the number the more protruding the rim? Then what is the correct offset for flash look in stream? cheers

Hamburger Hypersonic August 5, 2011 Share August 5, 2011 when you lowered the car with coilover and on full load, confirm offset 35 will rub until dont want to rub. off set of 35 is way off. There is good reason when engineer placed a 55mm there in the 1st place.

Chillipadi 1st Gear October 14, 2011 Share October 14, 2011 (edited) Can I ask how wide can the tyres go for the original RSZ 17" rims? Size is 17 X 6JJ and stock tyres are 205/55R17. Can fit 215/45R17 tyres? Edited October 14, 2011 by Chillipadi
Beregond Supersonic October 14, 2011 Share October 14, 2011 Can I ask how wide can the tyres go for the original RSZ 17" rims? Size is 17 X 6JJ and stock tyres are 205/55R17. Can fit 215/45R17 tyres? if u wanna put 215 width tyre, use 215.50.17 better. 6' wide rim put 205 more accurate, but your orginal size, i think very rare. hard to find any tyre shop to keep stock, if u not urgent, why not ask your shop order the exact size for u ? Chillipadi 1st Gear October 14, 2011 Share October 14, 2011 I'm not on a stream but getting RSZ rims. My stock is 205/55R16. So go up to 17" for my ride should be 215/45R17 if I didn't calculate wrongly. Coz just wondering if the 17 X 6JJ can fit the width of 215. ↡ Advertisement
