Try Aibil. They have quite extensive range of gym equipment including benches and free weights..

Quality, go for Weider. They have a warehouse somewhere at Macpherson, their outlet at

Shaw Centre has closed down already. Price is round what the others are selling, can discount a bit also.

Get from Aibi will do.

Don't spend too much on the bench. Spend more on the weights.

However, if you weigh more than a 100kg, ok..then get a quality bench please.

Disagree.

Even for a medium sized guy around 75kg, you better invest in a good bench - if you press around 80~100kg (which is quite normal for slightly seasoned lifters), you don't wany anything to give way under you.

Yeah, might as well take plywood and make one yourself. [laugh]

Some things cannot compromise on safety over money.

I will use Weider or Cybex. Two of the better brands for gym equipment,

reliable and sturdy.
