Hi all,

Does anyone knows where to get the noise level of many different tyres recored using a standard noise testing equipment? A lot of ppl here are just basing on their experience which is very subjective. Think no one will really know what is the top 3 most quietest tires available in S'pore. Hope those who know can share the info here.

GT Radial 228 is also another quiet tires just launched not long ago. Value for money if you compared to other quiet tires from Japan. [thumbsup]

Maybe what he means is a decibel measuring device. Maybe can borrow from some construction company. [laugh]

But it's still subjective cos not all the cars have the same level of sound proving, some ppl are semi-deaf, some are semi-sober and some are semi-conscious. [laugh]

2dy mi fren chged to another quiet taya........Federal FD2. e thread design is 1 of e most "quiet lookin" type i ve seen. will post a FR if got a chance to test it out. Btw, its a 215/55/17

finally got a chance to drive e Fed FD2....its really quiet n comfy. Threadwear is 420(i tink), but e rubber feels really soft. But 1 con...don seems to come wif rim protecter. wuld dare say its even quieter than a DB DNA. My bro who went up north wif mi, drove his grandis wif tis rubber felt comfy n sure footed at 180. [inlove]

Falken ZE912 is good, also reasonable. Heard it is made in Thailand. have it fixed at $110/piece

from Stamford. Quiet and comfy.

912 is not too bad a tire for above average grip in wet and dry. I have been using it for the last 10K. Sad to say the quietness doesn't last very long. It starts to get noisy after 2 months of usage. just my own experience, others can differ. Maybe it's also due to the car.

I was just introduced to the Goodyear Assurance as a good quiet tire. Has anyone heard of it or tried it b4? Thanks
