Thanks for the tips...

I was making a U-turn at the above junction when a car hit me from the rear. As it happened so quickly, I didn't have a chance to take note of the car, license plate, etc. After the completing the U-turn, the lights turned red and the car who rear-ended me stopped at the T-junction. I waited by the roadside for him to come but he turned right instead.

have you make police report already??

Police will check from workshop any accident car has recently repair .It may help..

If no injury, police will not chap one. Even if you manage to find the culprit, if he deny, police also LL one. Unless you can find a 3rd party witness who is willing to testify in court, then you got a case....but still a civil case, not criminal case, unless there's injury, or the other driver got no license, license suspended, etc. But if no license/suspended license, don't think insurance will cover him....so you also can't claim from his car insurance, got to claim from him directly, so another LL civil case.

Really wonder how our laws function here....sigh....

this method will free up the police manpower to do other things. they will only interfere if there is injury. if want to change this, then the law minister have lots of work to do.
