Sgsw0skl Neutral Newbie October 7, 2009 Share October 7, 2009 Hopefully, the same DNA that exist in the VW 1.4TSi does not cause the stalling on the Octavia 1.4TSi. Its specs is really yummyand I doubt many car will be able to match the build quality nor the goodies that comes with it... ↡ Advertisement
Carcuter88 Neutral Newbie October 7, 2009 Share October 7, 2009 I knew it man. Poor selling brands like Skoda have to resort to mark-up prices so that loan approval is easier, and larger sums get approved. So I don't think the $12K discount is a limited offer. 115K is the list price but now harvest is offering a 12K discount for 6 bids (limited offer) so VRS is at 103K for the Combi. Perseus76 2nd Gear October 23, 2009 Share October 23, 2009 test drove this car, and like every bit of it.....i think its really a good car to buy. Only thing that is causing some reluctance is that I am not sure if the after sale service is good? parts difficult to get? Parts going to be expensive. and also how reliable is HA as a company, that it can continue to substain here, as I do not really see too many skoda on the road yet...... any present owner care to enlighten? Beanoyip Turbocharged October 23, 2009 Share October 23, 2009 Perseus - Service aside, parts are aplenty. Don't forget Skoda shares the same parts VW/Audi. Part prices are not too expensive as well.
Fisheye Neutral Newbie October 23, 2009 Share October 23, 2009 Frankly, not much use going back to AD unless for warranty replacements... plenty of workshops outside that can do servicing for the skoda. Afterall its using the same engine as the jetta...
Perseus76 2nd Gear October 24, 2009 Share October 24, 2009 service aside......hmmmm..... ...that is not too encourage.....i went to HA showroom twice, and both times, pretty empty....although i think i saw a few chio bu around, not SE, but probably exec.... hahha so u guys seldom goes back to HA for servicing....... another qn is...does u guys do modding? aftermarket parts easy to come by? or simply just use anything available for the GTI?
