- Look and plan ahead....don't just plan to get into power. Think also what to do after they have got into power and what to do to calm the situation and be prepared to deal with all the queries/opposition.

- Smile and stay calm...looking stressed, pull a long face, etc...is not helping either (tho that maybe what the some sector of the press want to portray).

 

- Not responding to the accusations fast and well....is as good as admitting the claims are true.

 

 

For COOG:

 

- Don't just say 'no comment'.....it is like the above 'is good as admitting the claims are true'.

Surely a church is about Truth, Values and Honesty and not PR PR and Better PR?

Ironically, AWARE should step in now to help Josie address DBS' move in redesignating her to some other role...Seems discriminatory to whack a woman for her role in civil organisations...

 

If AWARE is really as impartial as they claimed, perhaps they should raise a protest and speak out for Josie...else, its just private vendetta not to help her...

This was DBS's concern "DBS was concerned about Josie dragging the organization into another round of controversy following her adoption of a right wing Christian NGO “Focus on the Family” last year as a benefactor of DBS which culminated in a boycott of DBS credits cards and banking facilities by the gay community in Singapore.", and even though they told her no, she ran for AWARE president against the wishes of the bank.

 

She should be fired for insubordination instead of just demoted.

No. Becoming a member of parliament is very different from joining a rights movement esp when she's part of a right-wing fundamentalist christian group. There is no indication that it is a male-female rights issue.

children of today need school to teach? ask them to teach those teachers maybe more effective.. coz teachers' job very stress and those youngsters know how to destress...
