Myturbo Neutral Newbie May 2, 2009 Share May 2, 2009 hehehehe Great to see all the PUSSY CATs (AWARE) fighting in the day & surrender to TOMCAT in bed at night. So it's still a TOMCAT world after all.

Gnoikj Neutral Newbie May 2, 2009 Share May 2, 2009 Man, frm Wayang Party's account, the crowd is quite terrible...they can't hold it in a civil manner at all!! All just shouting and embarassing Josie Lau and the New Guard....quite sad to see people behaving like that...

Gnoikj Neutral Newbie May 2, 2009 Share May 2, 2009 The crowd seems more interested in disrupting the EGM than discuss issues...ha...may develop into a full scale riot if not put under control...

Honestly, there are no issues to discuss at this stage. Just call for the vote, count the votes and go home. All the issues are already out in the open. They managed to discredit AWARE and its sexual education programs. No schools will dare to engage AWARE to talk in their school in the near future. If that was truly the issue that the new guard had problems with, they achieved their aim. My chief concern if the NG lose will be how the OG can keep the lesbians that voted them in under control. AWARE will probably turn into a pro-lesbian organization and further discredit itself with the mainstream population.
Scenic98 Clutched May 2, 2009 Share May 2, 2009 OG or NG, Aware better off being disolved and removed as a NGO. Isn't there another (or a few) other women's group? the way the new president is presiding this EGM shows her own character flaw. doubt her dbs position is also at stake. even if not, her subordinates at the bank will lose any last morsel of respect they had for her. Babyt 4th Gear May 2, 2009 Share May 2, 2009 schools are not the only grp AWARE is serving. so i think it sldnt affect AWARE badly.
Gnoikj Neutral Newbie May 2, 2009 Share May 2, 2009 No i think Kusje is right....on the part of the sexuality workshop, at the very least, the NG has totally tarnished the OG's aim...which is to sway the minds of the kids to accept homosexuality...in the near future, MOE will clamp down on any workshops organised by AWARE and scrutinise them.... ↡ Advertisement
