who knows Jesus indeed is a human being who can procreate and not something divine, can't imagine millions of ppl who believe in jesus and one fine day, they found out he is a man who had a child with mary and there is a bloodline, the truth is out there

 

ahh... then there will be disappointment and lost of hope.

 

But this argument has another facet to it, a much much bigger consequence. So OTOH, if indeed Jesus is who he claims he is, and the only way to salvation, then those who had not believed will find themselves in the place of damnation. Of coz, this sid'e of the argument shouldn't be used for fear of affronting people, and i have only raised this up as a counterargument.

One man cannot serve 2 masters, and to Evangalise is to follow the Word of God.

 

As a faithful and true follower, there is no other way about it. To know this and not do it is..

 

While most religions evangalise with the best of intention, we live in a multiracial and multifaith society. Based on your line of thought, there will be no peace as every religious group will want to erect their own laws/regulations to stop acts or activities it deem to be immoral or not in line with how they should live based on their "Word of God". The last time I checked, there are quite a few versions around although there are also a great deal of similiarity in them as well. A secular society is important in Singapore context and I don't like this AWARE episode at all.

i think AWARE is trying to be neutral on it and is not telling free thinker, hey God said its wrong to have anal sex, homo sex and alike.

 

to free thinkers, who cares about God?

why worry so much....i remembered i saw the words on a song during a church wedding, it says when you do a sin, god/lord will atone for you, will forgive you....so i was laughing in my heart, is the religion telling me to do sinful things, then i will just seek god/lord for forgiveness, let god/lord to atone my sins so that i will not feel any remorse, dun need to take any responsibilities and consequences, then once i step out of the chruch, i can do the sinful things again and again, since lord/god will forgive me everytime.....such song really something wrong, it really preach the wrong way to these followers ...so now these followers do not have any responsibilities or sensibilities since god/lord build the foundation of their character (that is dun worry, you will not go to hell, come to me, i will atone your sins and forgive you)...

 

what are the parents of these followers doing??? i think they should get enlightenment from confucius and similar chinese way of teachings.....

The function is not impaired. They just don't want to use it as we would normally use it.

 

Do not tie it in with the words genetic or disease. It is an act of free will to choose a lifestyle. It might or might not be influenced by genetics, no conclusive evidence of a "homo gene".

 

Don't get into this with the genetics angle explaining it through science. You risk looking like Hitler.

 

 

Agree with you totally, it's down to choice, the person should have the right to decide his/her own chosen path.
