If you got the Ask Jeeves recorder, start the record before you go into this page:

Ask And Record Toolbar can be downloaded from here:

You can now record streaming music and videos directly! No more conversions.

The music at Johan Soderqvist's start page is Eli's Theme from Let the Right One In OST. He does the bass waterphone sounds, while the Slovak National Orchestra provides the haunting melody.

I see another master coming up joining Hans Zimmer and John Williams.

The OST has a lot of music but some are worth keeping. The rest are mood music for the movie which is surprisingly missing! The movie lacks the soundtrack found in the OST.

The tracks worth keeping are:

Eli's Theme

Oskar in Love

Eli and Oskar

The Father

Then we are together

Let the Right One In

Actually it is super sad. Watch the movie and you will know.

This is when she leaves because they are being discovered. I cried when this happened with this music so strong and emotional.

Then later, after finishing the movie, the main theme comes on as the credits role. I sat through the whole thing at home and most likely I would have sat through the cinema till the end. Then you take out the DVD from your player feeling good.

If you need the DVD, get from HMV. Cheaper at 22.50, must play with the volume way up. A movie that needs you to reach out to it with your senses. Then again the movie may not be your cup of blood...ooops tea.

I don't go about recommending movies but this is a movie that should be enjoyed with someone. It can be considered a date movie if you will. The emotions and human condition of loneliness is conveyed so well in it. Seeing the snow alone can make you feel cold.

Even Danny Boyle who made Slumdog Millionaire said he wanted to burn the negatives to this film. It is that good.

If you want some tender music from this OST, there is Then We Are Together which was softly played when they are in the bedroom together. The Father is a little more uplifting because the movie's character gets to see his father and play. For a feeling of loneliness, there is Eli and Oskar.
