Just found a downside to the luggage scuff plate and it that the opening and closing of the boot cover will require a tiny bit of pressure.

This is cos the plate added a tad of thickness so the cover will rub against the plate.

Won't the natural momentum of the door swinging down shut be sufficient?

Do you see a workaround for that?

i meant the interior boot cover. not the boot door. the piece below the mat.

workaround is to sand down or buffer the thickness away. need some industrial buffering tool though.

Personally I don't see that as an issue. Anyway I will have a somewhat heavy rubber mat over that area plus likely some weighty items on top.

Those are all available from Amazon Jp, Rakuten or Yahoo shopping Jp. Some are also available from TB. A few of us already started buying these things online. Various threads in FB on accessories.

Is this for flag? Its will looks nice to put Sg flag there rather than at window adding to height of car, some mscp cannot take the added height

1) Contemplating to install the antennae (fender lamp) too - but afraid to drill hole/damage the car, so shelve the idea. It will auto retract when parking and good marker for parking/tight spaces. No, its not to put flag, may cause unnecessary strain esp high speed cruising or break it.

2) Auto reverse tilt, yes, both sides tilt downwards (can manually adjust required set posittion when reverse engages), best to get it as factory options - choose this before buying. If not, get the module.

3) Side mirror rain repel/heater - have it on my previous vellfire, not v useful. Suggest get the "Blue Sidemirror with amber signal LED on mirror itself" eg from silkblaze. Got it on my current ride - no regrets.

I have v good service from Japan direct parts, google alphard japan direct parts - have ordered a couple of times from them.

MPVL - hold on to your wallet for now. Check out Bigg's thread in FB on the tail lights. Checking with manufacturer on prices .... hopefully much lower than buying from Japan vendor.

Standard configuration is without spare. But you can order one to go with it - probably get charged for it. If getting dirty and wasting time is not your thing, just throw a can or two of tyre inflators at the back for these highly unlikely events. Look back the previous page for a pic posted by mpv_l of the boot, the spare tyre (if you have) goes in there and will take up 2/3 of that space + some weight.

Will PM you my PI.
