Petamore 1st Gear April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 The triplets cost more than wish and is a grade better than wish. Also, its a completely new machine after 7 years break from earlier model. So you need not worry about the issues you mentioned. So far so good. I'm just curious how the triplets fair compared to estima (old model to date) and new odyssey. Price wise, both estima and odyssey definitely a grade above the triplets. Interior wise, function wise and looks certainly better than the triplets. But in terms of handling, road noise, driver comfort etc, wonder whether they are of a superior grade compared to the triplets? ↡ Advertisement
Z234user 1st Gear April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 4. For those buying voxy noah doest come with leather seats. Repeat - think twice about stripping and replace with cheap leather. Get the money back and wrap when fabric is worn out. Completely agreed with the leather seat comme ts here. I personally experienced this struggle myself. First installation poor. Asked for another much better but last row still a struggle. Re install of the last row also was not done well. The last row seats are very very sensitve n unfortunately not all leather fitters know how to manage this. You may end up causing more harm. check carefully when collecting n ensure no issues with the job..the laat row especially. triplets are scare n the template for the leather not easily available. The last row is also very sensitve to how its installed.

The newer boxy one is better but still no go. Estima is nice but too small Function wise no idea which one more. Should be more expensive more. The dream is alphard. Super boxy and nice. mpv_lover 1st Gear April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 2 things I like to ask in terms of comparison with wish: 1) Does Esquire (i think should be the same for the triplets) vibrate like wish when stationary? 2) Does Esquire (i think should be the same for the triplets) roll back like wish when on even not v steep slope? tks... Yes. My wish vibrate at idle. The trick is to on pole light. done research on this issue. It's common. Even toyota sg cannot solve. There are threads on this. The workaround is to up the rpm so that it will not vibrate. The way to up is pole light. U will notice rpm up slightly when pile light is on. I heard that the rpm was tweaked factory wise to be lower to save fuel. And yes I have change my engine mount to original toyota parts. still vibrate. Esquire come with hill assist. Tested it on first day. No roll back for 2 to 3 seconds after brake released. This is one of the main function I looked for. Wish sucks

mpv_lover 1st Gear April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 Peta and z... the middle row door handle. The square Button also open the sliding doors. Why they design this since can operate the conventional way? Any benefit? Also the door when Locked and off engine... the lock will not auto unlock. Why? My wish used to auto unlock all doors when off engine. Now need to manually press unlock

My wish used to auto unlock all doors when off engine. Now need to manually press unlock You like to pull the handle for sliding door, I like to press the button! I find it easier to push than pull haha. So that's what it gives. Options. You know the front doors although no silver buttons but the white area is also touch sensitive to unlock. Don't ask me why front door button is white and sliding button is silver. But from child and disabled perspective, it may be easier to push a button than pull the whole handle. Pull requires a significant amount of strength and my kids can't do it. End up I became lazy like them. I have to agree this car is very child and disabled friendly. Can also indent welcab options from japan. That is, seat will automate and move down to floor level for wheel chair folks to board. Otherwise, options to have ramps at rear to roll wheelchair up with proper anchoring for wheelchair and passenger. Need to order for such options. Was your wish keyless? So far my keyless car doesn't auto unlock on switch off engine. You can try asking can install after market module? I think last time your wish had because they installed after market alarm that also provides autolock on brake and unlock on off.

But I dun see any pearl effect... Question mark... Have Been sourcing for 070 since my wish. Giant... home fix. .. self fix...autobac batok all no. Autobac ubi happen to see it a few days ago when shopping around. Only 1 last stick. Was so elated... turns out like no different from 050 Just a tiny speck of dot at my rear. Noticed it when I was cleaning. Yes... sliding door still need some clearance. This one must be careful. Someone in this forum... his whole sliding door full side swipe when open against pillar wall. Must be painful Borneo says they don't sell the paint. Only help us to touch up the dots for free if we have a service package with them. Seems like mpv lover's imported paint is my only hope! Bc75 1st Gear April 22, 2015 Share April 22, 2015 Questions for 7 seater triplets owner. How easy for passenger to access 3rd row seat? My situation is 2 adults + 3 kids. To sit comfortably, one kid need to sit on 3rd row. Do I need to adjust 2nd row every time someone need to get into 3rd row, or the 2nd row can shift into some position that can allow full time easy access to 3rd row? Another way I can think of is access from the boot. Possible? Practical?

Do I need to adjust 2nd row every time someone need to get into 3rd row, or the 2nd row can shift into some position that can allow full time easy access to 3rd row? Another way I can think of is access from the boot. Possible? Practical? 1. For 7 seater, there's aisle in 2nd row. So easy for child to walk through to rear. 2nd row captain seats not only allows front and back sliding but also allows left and right movement. The seats coukd be separated with an ailse so there's no need for you to adjust everytime. 2. Rear boot access is possible provided you have space for boot door to fully open and of the 2 rear chairs, one is folded away. Definitely an option. The car floor is flat throughout from front to back so stepping in from the rear is as easy as stepping from the side. 3. The sliding seats are so smooth. Nothing like those old toyota where you need so much energy to move the seats. Watch this video. At 3 min 20s, you will know what I Mean. https://youtu.be/X0PhS8xIs8o 1 min 30s 30s mark The photos here explan it too. http://toyota.jp/voxy/interior/indoor_space/ This is another option of entry if you are sitting a baby seat in the captain chair. Petamore 1st Gear April 23, 2015 Share April 23, 2015 Hi all, I am also looking at the triplets. Anyone drive and enter Marina Square car park before? The car park height limit is 1.9m. The triplet heights are 1.825m. Lower than 1.9m. Biante owner has been in marina square carpark and bianye is 1.83m. http://www.mycarforum.com/topic/2661786-mazda-biante-mpv/page-13 Quote from heartlander: I repost the database from that forum. Hope no copyright issue haha. And do take the list with a bit of salt, like Marina Square is listed at 1.9m in some forum but here as 1.8m. I remember parking my Biante there just a few weeks ago without any problem. See whether brother heartlander will come and comment.

Petamore 1st Gear April 23, 2015 Share April 23, 2015 Drum brake or disc brake argument aside, I have no problem braking with this mpv. Another way to look at this: if you see Alphards, Vellfires, Biantes, some of the taller light commercial vehicles in there - the triplets are good to go in since they are shorter.
