Are u aware that the bigger the rim the smaller the rubber? And the smaller the rubber the more road humps u feel. I.e. to say more rocky and less comfort. Of course big rims looks very nice.

My old wish. I was on 17. Super rocky. I wanted it to feel like grassland coach very comfortable even if went over humps. I changed to 16. Thick rubber. Felt better but not as good as what I'm aiming for. Went over humps felt the elasticity of rubber. Last time felt the metal hitting my legs... sucky feel. Now on 15 happy at last. Also last time on 17. One rubber cost 289. Now on 15 cost only 130.

Looks not as nice though. So it's better fc, cheaper rubber and comfort vs looks

Hey samfreak...come over to the dark side...where the cars may look boxy & coffiny but have suprisingly strong fan base ..a slow growing one in singapore but steady in Japan & HKG..very steady!!

I might have even considered the Esquire if it was available back then though, personally i think the sports SI edition is the most hadsome of them all.

Yes, the Esquire looks & feels atas man...& is in fact atas...you only live once & if you can afford it without breaking the bank...go for it...especially when u kept the current ride for almost 10 years.this ride will surely please more than your current.

was at the toyota stockist the other day & checked on some common parts between our ride & the Harrier

The chassis will deliver a differnt ride overall but you be pleased to know some of the common parts are & yes the looks cannot be more different but under the exterior so many simlar interiors!!

Absorber shock assembly(front)

Transaxel Assembely CVT

partial engine assembly (yes the engine!!)

radiator assembly, air conditioner

....after a while uncle tired ...so stopped checking ;-)

Did u happen to check if the sunshade at middle row can be replaced? Was thinking that it's just a matter of time before the kids pulled them out. I liked the sunshade... disappointed that 3rd row does not have that. 5008 and Picasso have for both rows

I have seen the car at M9 at ubi car mart.

nice !

Btw, I think next door autolink have Noah or the voxy so can compare immediately.

Looks rank low on my list of priorities. Practicality, sliding doors, space, reliability are tops. My current ride is deemed ugly by many. My previous ride was a Mitsubishi Dion! Now that's even more ugly, boxy and coffiny - but it served me well until the day I traded it in for the Isis.

Its a bit of a rush for me to meet the next COE bidding. I want to see the car in person first before putting down the deposit. Problem is the two PIs I've sort off shortlisted don't have the car in yet. It will be soon, but likely after next Wed. We'll see.

auto link and m9 were the first and second shops I went for viewing haha

I like the voxy transparent back light cover. Think it's looks best among the three.

M9 show room version is black on black. I even Wat apps the se to confirm. All theirs stocks are black on black. By the way they claimed that they have ready stocks for a few colors. All others shops only have 1 or 2 units. I asked to see the ready stocks they said can show the documents to proof landed in sg. But can only see showroom unit. By the way they provide rental cars also. Esquire is included

Auto link stock coming in end Apr to may. Collection in may to June after pass lta inspection.

Prime car at mega mart also have show room unit. But it's Xi model. No leather seats if I recalled correctly. No moon roof and steering and gear do not have the touted wooden grain. Cheaper though. Apex also same Xi model.

Peta and z.... do u feel the sun is glaring when driving at around 8 to 9 am? The glass surface is very much larger than my wish... a bit not accustomed to the sunlight.

I have installed the front windscreen sunshade. . It's help a lot. But the left and right front window is very big... I actually up my driver seat high up to get less sun. But my passenger seat cannot adjust height. Any idea if there is any hidden lever to adjust height?

Did you install door visor? I'm quite hesitant to do so as I like the large viewing area... just not the sunlight

Hey MPV lover...yes just checked...no problem have spare ;-) indicative price is $300(per side)...could be slightly more or less ..

no worries about spares...i was amazed when i was at the shop last week & saw the detailed diagram for each part...even very bolt, even plastic ring..is covered by a part number & is order-able

...innovative solution i saw...which might solve the lack of sunshade in last row...i might be keen to do for my rear windscreen...i like to darken it up a bit more ;-)

My niece who drove the car said she's driving an aeroplane with the view of an aeroplane. So do what the pilots do, put on your ray ban Sunglasses.

I didn't add on anything. Thankfully driver seats can jack up very high and the sun shade is sufficent to block off morning or evening sun.

No hidden lever for rest of Seats. Only driver's.

Neutral Newbie

Looks like i will stick to stock 15" rims first. I am also thinking about fitting door visors, tail gate and in-car LED. Any advice on a good workshop who can fix for Esquire?
