GMT IIc for me. the ceramic bezel is distinctive and hardy. can get for high 8k+ at PIs.

EXP II abit smallish looking although its the same 40mm. can get for 6.6k at PIs.

me noob at this.

can PM me and recommended PIs? never knew watches have PIs.

accompanied my friend to hour glass at taka, that's the last time i go in.

the experience of being visually searched and "sized up" is not great.

my friend, as usual, very oblivious, thick skin enough to ask to see but not buy.

i prefer daytona... [thumbsup]

this one u can swap opinions with our resident millionaire table wiper.

many suntec food court diners have choked on their food...

when his daytona clad wrist stretched across the table to clear the plate of almost-finished chicken rice.

if die die have to choose between the two, then I say GMT. if for a rolex of around similar price range, then I will say go for the Sea Dweller..

SD is very chunky.

very panerai.

why not consider the DSSD?

u meant the SDDS.??

i think the previous SD is nicer without the cyclops.

but the new SD is fugly. (no offense) but not as bad as what they did with the YM.

the new YM is a riot of colours. (even more fugly...to point if i was given one, i would exchange it for any other watch in the Sports series or pawn it)

ok, maybe a little overreaction to the new SD but the words printed just along the inner circumference puts me off.

oh yeah, thanks for the your entry on the NZ road trip post!

I've tried both before.

GMT looks alot newer and younger. :)

Explorer II is an old model but very subtle and get the white face one if you are choosing this. The black face one is ugly IMO..

i dont like GMT

i think it looks too "Tag Hauger"

trying to be a sport watch ... yet overshadowed by its bigger cousin, the Sub

my best friend is wearing a Explorer II daily ... i like it bcos it is subtle

not too loud good for everyday use and yet suitable for those black-tie occasions

i more into classic rolexs

myself is a 6695 minted in 1954, purchased by my grandy for my father, who in turn gave it to me when i moved to US for a short work attachment stint in 1994.

go to www.sg-roc.com ... you will find a wealth of info on classic Rolls over there
