Urns Neutral Newbie April 23, 2009 Share April 23, 2009 I heard the tree that was fallen along Farrer Road was there since last night 11pm close to midnight? Anyone can verify this? It caused me to be late for my work and I'm sure many others out here will share the same sentiments! ↡ Advertisement

Urns Neutral Newbie April 23, 2009 Author Share April 23, 2009 I called the Traffic Police this morning and they have informed me that ppl from NParks are on their way down to remove the tree. Time at that time was around 8.45am. Does that mean NParks work at 8.30am as well? In that case shouldn't our respectable Traffic Police Force take over? Seriously this must be looked into or else a repeat incident will occur. More fustration leads to more impatience leads to more accidents then won't the Traffic Police be busier then? Look at the big picture please civil servants!
Watwheels Supersonic April 23, 2009 Share April 23, 2009 What has it gotto do with NPark? Isn't the Civil Defense who will cut away the fallen trees or some contractors to clear the fallen branches?

Watwheels Supersonic April 23, 2009 Share April 23, 2009 (edited) what does fallen tree got to do w Npark...to be fair they cant guarantee all trees wont collaspse mah. Maybe Npark got hire ppl from 7/11 standby 24hrs a day 7 days a week, holding chainsaws ready to cut & remove fallen trees hit by storm that comes once in a blue moon. Caravan 5th Gear April 23, 2009 Share April 23, 2009 Actually the people who does the actual cutting are the contractors, and possibly they are not on standby 24 hours. Though NParks contract them, if they not around, probably they can't do much, unless you want to ask police to do that (sometimes they do in an emergency).
