Haha! I think no offence, but those relatively light cars got to keep accelerating if not they would be blown away. I have seen a car got blown out of direction on CTE before in heavy thunderstorm. damn scary!

This is 1st time I see so many leaves on the road, be it small road or expressway [sweatdrop]

Wah lau............ just a strong wind nia....... trigger so many farnie reactions! [laugh]

And ard a week ago, it was extremely warm... [sweatdrop]

If you are driving at about 11pm just now, you will know this strong wind is no joke. One motorbike also almost skid due to too many leaves flying on the road and he can not see clearly. Luckily he and me slow down at the same time. [sweatdrop]

Neutral Newbie

if you really want to know, it's the beginning of the southwest monsoon. high pressure systems beginning to form over australia and low pressure over east asia. blows past sumatra and singapore. most of the rain falls on sumatra, so we get sporadic bursts of whatever is left in the cloud system.

if not for sumatra, we'll probably get it as bad as india when the real big ones hit in june.

hmmm interesting. Just to ask further. When we have very warm weather e.g. the brief arid spell this past week or so, is that actually attributed to low pressure or high pressure?
