Sgnick 1st Gear April 21, 2009 Author Share April 21, 2009 (edited) Thanks, that's a good advise. I dont know if walkie talkies are considered banned objects and secrurity threat. But then it will be in checkin lugguage and not hand carry lugguage. Ok, on the other hand, what if it is in hand carry lugguage? Is it allowed? Hiphiphoray 6th Gear April 21, 2009 Share April 21, 2009 Better dont bring. The customs have every right to conficate it with safety concerns.
Ender Hypersonic April 21, 2009 Share April 21, 2009 (edited) To bring in there's always a risk of being confiscated. Walkie Talkie bought in Singapore are restricted for use only in Singapore without license. Likewise, walkie talkie bought from overseas are not to be use in Singapore. This is by right.. There's still many in Singapore are by left and use export set from USA with longer range. Edited April 21, 2009 by Ender
Adrianli Hypersonic April 21, 2009 Share April 21, 2009 For Singapore law, look here : http://www.ida.gov.sg/Policies%20and%20Reg...0418214814.aspx For Thailand, better check with their relevant authority. They have every right to confiscate.
