got 1 time i pickup 1 pretty woman right after i come out from jurong carpark (near my house)... she going to amk, then and 1 of my friend call me to play mahjong..

 

so i told my friend i will change to my own car as we will play until 2moro morning (need to park the taxi back for the owner) then i told the lady sorry got something on, and i will not collect anything from her, think she over hear what i talk... and she told me is very hard to get a cab there... and i am going to play mahjong! and dump her there...

 

so no choice, i told her i will use my own car to sent her out to main road, so easy to get a cab...

 

then when she in my car... start asking how much taxi driver earn,.. somemore can buy car...

then say her boyfriend useless cannot earn anything... wanna break off with the bf

and later say i am a good man... somemore give me her contact number!!!!

 

but till now i never call :)

there was once i sat on the skoda cab and the cab uncle in his early 30's was doing a 150 on midnight and told me his cab can do 200 anytime and wrx cannot see his taillight. scary encounter. quite stable as a passenger.

 

 

agree, skoda more powerful than sonata. but not sure between mercs and skoda.

After submitting yr TDVL, LTA wl send u letter to go SATA for X-ray & check up.

For me, last Dec, I registered with Comfort for on-line course, the earliest class av`ble back then was in Feb. Only during that class they wl give u password to access on-line course. After u complete on-line course, must book orientation which is always on Sunday morning. During orientation, they wl let u know yr exam date.

I discovered that comfort does not give text book, must buy fm them at $8, while SMRT gives the book free. I must say it is useful for revision b4 exam.

Perhaps while waiting for yr LTA letter and all, perhaps u cud try registering for the on-line course first. C if they allow.

$30++. Less than $40. Cannot collect on the spot. Need to wait for a few days. I just collected mine. Will be going down to take-up the online course.

sorry but where can I get info on how much is the daily taxi rental rate etc .. I'm applying for my TVL .. but need to find out how much each company charges and which one is the better rate and "benefits" and has anyone taken the online TVL course before??

Not sure leh. I went on Wed afternoon. After everything, they told me to come back on next Mon after 3pm to collect.

I think my advise is you should go to individual taxi company wedsite to see thru their benefit and differences taxi rental..
