Agree with the phrase in bold.

 

I am driving a slightly mod wrx, FC is around 9.5KM/L, insurance is around $2100 for 27 yrs (50+5 ncd)

 

quite contented and after modding, the torque feel is just shiok, can just accelerate from any gear with minimal turbo lag (benefit of the wussie td04)

 

just had a friendly run with a RX8 at 1 traffic light, hehe [:p] yesterday, left the run smiling -_-

 

 

Conclusion:

 

For people who want looks, RX8,

 

For people who want cheap power and practicality, WRX

anyone noticed the driver legroom of RX8?it is so crampy that i have to put my legs on one side and sitting awkwardly(while test sitting inside)....anyone experienced that?

 

I seated in my friend RX8 once. Find that the leg space quite okay. Anyway, if you are going to drive this type of car. Leg space is the last thing you are concern about.

RX8 is surprisingly as spacious as the WRX...no complains about front seats...

 

but rear ones are a bit cramp...but can take adults...

 

front seats have quite a bit of headroom, if you adjust your seats to the lowest...

 

the thing about RX8 is that you'll have to rev the nuts off the engine then you'll feel the power...worse than turbo-lag...this is the characteristics of Rotary engine...

 

if you drive normally, it'll be as underpowered as a 1.3L engine...

 

if you rev the RX8 expect at most 6-7km/L...it's really a heavy drinker...

 

but it's definitely much cooler than driving in a WRX...

 

interior quality and design of RX8 much better than the staid WRX too...

rx8 no doubt for looks!

speed go for evo or wrx!

maintenance Rx8 cheaper to maintain as insurance n rdtax is definitely cheaper than evo or sti!

Some time ago, there is a bro who say that every 100K RX8 need to rebuild engine hence more expensive than EVO and STI.

Yeah i find it unbeliveable too. if its for racing i understand. But regular driving in Singapore i find it amazing.

I don't really like either one.

But if I got to choose, I will go for RX8..

WRX is spoiled by some SG drivers already..~

 

yup...i would think wrx is a good vehicle....its jus the manner in which singapore drivers drive the vehicle....its either they are not good in handling the vehicle

 

i think i would also go for rx8

if you are chossing in between this 2 cars, you can really saying you are honestly concern about cost of maintainance... [rolleyes]

 

and when you are considering this 2 great cars, you are more bias to chioness alr...

 

then in this case, RX8 will be the ONE. -_-
