thou it was no thunder storm, tried out e PP2 few times in e wet. As rain was not heavy enuh, not able to feel any aquaplaning. to mi....PP2 does not ve e gd feel factor went going over wet ground. Steering feels abit detached where Ku31 feels much more planted. for now, Ku31 is a better tyre in e wet for mi [rolleyes]

ku31 and similar pattern rubbers are excellent at cutting thru water than straight channel ones like contisport and pp2

but if talkin abt dry alone pp2 will definitely win hands down due to the better compound and circumfrental groove design

ku31 is poorer in cornering due to more rounded sidewall and smaller side blocks

compound wise, the make in german/france ones are definitely one up over thai/vietnam rubber which harden very fast

aft weeks wif PP2, i found 1 particular shortcoming wif tis tyre. Thou i conclude tat it has better corner capability, it has 1 short fall n tat is its wheel spin problem. Be it wet or dry, wheel spin is provoked quite easily.....contradictory findings??? [speechless]

I don't think it's a fair comparison between the 2 tyres...it's like comparing a Kia with a BMW....

KU31 is really cheap and good...PP2 i think should compare with Contisport or similar higher end tyres...

Actually, my next tyre is going to be the KU31 cause 18" is only $145!!..compare to the Conti CS3, i was quoted almost $400+ each...that's almost $300 difference each..i'd rather get a lousier KU31 but can change 2x more..

Bro where to get ku31 at this price? Mind to share? Or anyone know where to get at a cheaper price?

Ku31 is really a good tyre. Had tried wet and dry conditions, it never failed me at all.... Highly recommended...
