Greatodin 3rd Gear March 27, 2009 Share March 27, 2009 If given only 3 choices, I would choose Sushi Tei. But I usually eat at Ichiban Boshi/Sushi......If buffet, will be Ikoi or Hanabi.....
Mustank Hypersonic March 27, 2009 Share March 27, 2009 there is a jap outlet in forum the shopping mall don take the sushi from the conveyor belt order the hand roll type when the food comes, every thing is very fresh nowadays, i never eat from conveyor belt because it is like buying food from multi vegetable stall whereas order, then they make it is like zhi char
Kxbc Turbocharged March 27, 2009 Share March 27, 2009 None of the above. I find eating at these Jap places don't give me the value for money kind of satisfaction. If I don't crave for sashimi, I would rather spend $10 and get a set lunch at a Jap restaurant frequented by Jap expats and Jap office workers near my workplace. One main course (varies day to day) + rice + 1 slice of oleng + some pickles + soup. When I crave for non stop sashimi, I go to Ikoi and whack 2 big plates first before whacking the rest of the food on the menu.

Urns Neutral Newbie March 27, 2009 Share March 27, 2009 If given only 3 choices, I would choose Sushi Tei as well. The other 2 sucks. I only ate them when I was in JC/army.
Urns Neutral Newbie March 27, 2009 Share March 27, 2009 And I never fail to get started with a sashimi salad with sushi tei dressing. My all-time fave!
Pcslim Neutral Newbie March 27, 2009 Share March 27, 2009 Comparing among the above options, the quality of sakae really sucks compared to sushi tei. Having said that, even ichiban serves better quality food than sakae although they are about the same price range.
