Where to buy exterior tinting films?

Most films i have come across are designed to be installed on the interior of the glass; eg home windows etc.

 

I now need a tinting film that is to be applied on the EXTERIOR of the glass to prevent heat and also to improve privacy. I also know that if an interior film is installed on the exterior, it loses its heat prevention function (although it still offers the same degree of privacy)

 

Does anyone know where to get such exterior tinting film locally? pls help. thanks!

It's quite hard to find. If the films are installed on the exterior, they maybe subjected to a higher rate of wear & tear. U can go to Home-Fix to try ur luck...

 

BTW, what is it for?

ya, it is indeed hard to find. in fact, the last time i came across exterior film tinting was almost 5 yrs ago. not to mention its not local.

 

home-fix and many other places sell only interior tint films

 

it is for my double pane window.

just wondering, if there are interior film tints but adhesive is on the other side of the film. so that i can paste it on the outside but still able to exploit its original functions and purposes?
