Rastaman01 2nd Gear March 24, 2009 Share March 24, 2009 Hi..........I was involved in an accident this year and was diagnosed as whip lash but now my lawyer said i can only get about 2k plus only after taking away legal and medical cost........... and when asked them, they said must see doctor for reports and get treatments here n there but still not confirmed of any help............ all this while i have neen seeing the sinseh at the YISHUN the very big one as if i go doctor, would cost a bomb........... any1 knows any lawyers that can take over my case ↡ Advertisement Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

No matter how big or famous or expensive. Only real registered doctor's treatment history / opinion is acceptable. You need to understand this EXTREMELY basic requirement. I cannot believe that your existing lawyer did not state this clearly enough. It must be you who is simply not listening to him. Until you do, finding another lawyer is not going to help you. You already have been offered SOME money for an injury that the other side could very well dispute simply because you have NOTHING documented from a proper doctor that the court will accept. And yet you want some more? Good luck to you. You change lawyer now, still have to pay the existing lawyer. And you still have NO medical report from a real doctor. So what are you going to do? Start seeing a real doctor now to build a medical history? The lawyers from the other side will eat you alive. They will say that in the meantime you had another injury not caused by their client and you are trying to claim for it. IF U READ CAREFULLY i am looking for a lawyer to replace current one as mine does not really help and also upon my injury, i went to see DOctor at private clinic and given 4 days mc............... my main concern is to get a lawyer that can counter back la rather than just accepting wat the other party offers........... You want help, first of all try organising your facts in an honest, logical sequence. It's people who come out with this kind of pattern that in the end affects other people (who has no claims). Imagine, the insurance of a Toyota pickup is $900+ in 2008 then when the renewal notice came in 2009, it has increased to $1600+. Same insurer, no claims, same NCD. WTF man? In the context of your whole paragraph, medical cost could well refer to the money spent on your sinseh. After all, he is practicing Traditional Chinese Medicine, just that the courts do not recognise it. As I have said before, you can't organise your facts. I say again - good luck to you.
