If it is a grit 3000 and above scratch ( meaning if you can still see the paint colour ) than a good rubbing compound should be enough, top with a polish and wax. Keane Neutral Newbie March 23, 2009 Share March 23, 2009 i think i also kena the same problem on my centre console, i think d material is acrylic. in my eagerness to remove short dust...i rubbed too hard on the surface and i resulted in some patches of lines on this particular area. bro MD, do u have any product to remove such imperfections? Merciwash Neutral Newbie March 24, 2009 Share March 24, 2009 There is this white bottle i seen at the polisher's place i forgotten which brand but ti is used to cover deep scratches on plastic but can only last 3 weeks so to protect you may have to wax or seal frequently, but it works.
