Bro Troy..

I think to be fair to polishing groomers...There is always a reason why some prices are more expensive and some cheaper..To know whether your $$ is well spend..I think it is important to know what kinda of polishing job he is offering and also roughly know how bad your car condition..If you talk about a paint restoration job.. range 200 to 400 bucks is not surprise..

Again..paying a $84 dollars consists of?? I think will be a basic polishing tat all..When i am still doing polishing..I have passerby asking how much i charge for polishing..I told them this amount and they will tell me shopping mall charges $48 only.

Then I know if I can give a waxy feel and a wet tire shine look..They will say I do a good job..Know what I mean???

Bro Benny,

Thanks, I do understand your point. Quality always comes with a price.

Actually, it is not only about $$, I believe, it is also how one treats you when you are seeking for an honest opinion. The one in my post has definitely failed in that area.

Anyway, enough said about some black sheeps!

[drivingcar] I am newbie in this forum and noticed how everyone is impressed with your professionalism and service.

I really love to try out as well. I love washing my old car, but am sucks in polishing.

Cheers,

Troy

Hi Guys,

To remove the swirl mark for the car.

is it correct to

1) Polish down the paint or clear coat so that it is level. If the swirl mark is not very deep.

or

2) Apply some product to level it.

Which way is more lasting?

[thumbsup]

I will choose to have filler instead and a paint restoration yearly..

Is there anywhere near alexandra area where i can send my car for polish?

Of course I would prefer value for money and good quality.

Prefer if they could do a package for me for eg, exterior polish plus interior cleaning.

Hmm... i've been reading the forum.. but so far, no real idea whether anyone can remove the water marks on my car.

It's a one-year old, dark metallic black car. But i used to stay at a place with open-air carpark, and my office is also open-air carpark. Had a polishing when i moved to my new place with underground carpark, from mk mobile. Nice guy, did nice work. But he couldn't get rid of the water marks. The water spots are soooo obvious under the neon lighting. I've used the quick detailer to prevent more water marks...

IF a polishing, cutting the clear coat, waxing, etc is going to cost me 400 bucks..., wouldn't it be better just to respray with clearcoat (after the normal prep, obviously)?

Any thoughts?

I will also agree. If you are willing to put in 400 for polishing/waxing, I think the better way is to paint the whole car again especially if you are going for the same color.

The other argument will be you don't respray if it is only 1 year old. It is like paying for a cost of a year's road tax again.

Hi Bro Selespeed...If you dun mind..I dare to recommend one young man who always detail cars together with me..some Bros here had their cars done by him and came back to me with good feedback...My car is also done by him..Very well versed in machine polishing...

Things to note..Not only glazes have filler..Some sealant and wax do have some..but all this fillers only fill in very very fine swirls..I can pm you his contact if you want..He will be free May onwards when I am taking my break..

bro MD,

can you recommend me this groomer oso? but most important i need the groomer to remove swirl and water mark effectively.

many thanks,
