True think the cctv is a much more better choice, any good cctv to intro ?

If the staff knows that even when the boss are not around they are being watch, thinks this will help fix alot of problem

No need to install. Just use scare tactics.

1) Gather all the staff for a company meeting.

2) Say in a serious tone that the management knows some people have been pocketing money and caught by the hidden camera (no camera also say have!).

3) Then maintain complete slience for 2 minutes, at the same time observe the staff to see who has guilty face.

4) Then say the management has decided to give those people a chance (at this time see who has relieved face).

That should stop the stealing and if you're lucky, can even confirm the suspects.

that's not an ideal long term solution.

i think cctv can defer them ffrom pocketing, they will feel so uncomfortable with it in the shop.

CCTV with HDD recorder with 4 cams will set u back abt $3k with this system you can stream video online but u need broadband subscrption.

Pay back is fast taking into account the staff u pay to work is pocketing money.

Cheaper will be get a network/IP cam from D-Link but u need to have a PC at home to do the recording and image is poor. Otherwise u subscribe to the Singtel or M1 service where they give u a IP cam.

CCTV is a must for all business.

Can ask these shops at Sim Lim Tower (SLT) as well, if you are really interested in CCTV system. Don't recall it is so expensive $2,500. Should be under $1,000.

Disclaimer: I am not associated with them, just know that they are in CCTV/surveillance business with better pricing compared to SLS.
