In any case, I think its much better compared to the Passat Saloon.

It's definitely a good looking car, inside out, but totally uninspiring front.

4 seater may put alot of singaporeans off, I think.

but its not like singaporeans have big families...

anyway its true, the front isn't something "new". for most people exciting=new

Why dun VW have a 5 seaters Passat CC?

Though it has 7 speed DSG, the current Passat looked so dated liao, isn't it?

I think its not difficult to "mod" it into a 5 seater. Moreover the legroom for passat cc is quite spacious......

The car looks better in real. somehow its 7 speed 1.8 feels smoother than 2.0 auto (which stated as 6 speed?)

i still cannot understand why waste 1 seat at rear??

Hi, sorry to bring up an old thread.

I have a question.

I have a 2009 VW Passat but trying to connect my car stereo to pay music from my hp.

I have checked and my car does not have any bluetooth or USB connection.

Can anyone suggest the simplest way to connect my hp to my car stereo?

Thanks

One option is to buy those FM transmitter then allocate an empty frequency on your car then sync it to your device. Otherwise, your car got Aux in?

2009 model should have an aux-in or media-in jack.

If not, consider using an SD card to slot into the head unit?

Meet the VW Arteon (pronounced as Ar-tee-on), the car formerly known as the VW CC and, prior to that, the VW Passat CC.

The name comes from the word 'art' and the made-up, but apparently upmarket-sounding, 'eon' suffix, which VW also uses on its Phaeton-replacing Phideon in China. For all that, it is this car's original name that gives the biggest clues as to where it is derived from, but of course Volkswagen, armed with its MQB architecture and its hastening push for more 'emotional' designs, wants to claim it is a unique design and give this European range-topping sports coupé its own space in which to play.

That space is set to be pretty rarified for a car wearing a VW badge, because the target market is traditional premium buyers from both the Audi A4/BMW 3 Series/Mercedes C-Class sector and the larger Audi A6/BMW 5 Series/Mercedes E-Class sector. More directly, it’s a BMW 4 Series Gran Coupé rival.
