Last year premium:

$1.5k (10% NCD)

Renewal for coming year:

$2.7k (20% NCD)

Crazy!!! Wat have I done to deserve this jump in premium?? Same car, and I have not claimed a single cent before...

Just want to rant... looks like when newspaper report premiums are going to increase.. this the kind of increase we can expect. [rolleyes]

Hi, i think they want to get out of auto insurance business, I was quoted almost 60 % more from my previous payment (40% NCD), hmmm they need some soul searching. I am now with aunty lucy, not too bad. S$1350, their workshops.

Boycott AIG.

You are paying for their staff's bonus despite their lousy performance.

Even Obama can't stand them.

Begged for bailout.

When they got the money, straightaway send staff to SPA and holiday retreats.

And now so adamant about using the bailout money to pay for their own bonuses FIRST.

It tells alot about their integrity and business ethics.

This type of company should be bled to death. No bailouts should be given! Period.

Strange, AIG by AA gave me the best quote..

Last yr, I claimed insurance so when my renewal notice from SHC came last week, it increases from $1.1K to $1.8K++ and lost my NCD.

So got AA to quote, AIG gave me $ $1.4K, after AA 10% discount.

Some insurance gave me riduclous quote, like RSA=$2.4K, OAC=$2K.

I though AIG parent company in USA in trouble, that's why desperate gave me the lowest quote.
