Here are some excerpts from Urns' postings... It dawned on me that the younger generation has somewhat degenerated...

..Hey peeps let me relate this incident to you. This morning when I came to work via Lornie Road I was occupying Lane 1 travelling very close to the car in front as usual. Then there were a few bikes which zoomed past me on my left, riding between lanes as per normal. There was this particular big motorcycle which couldn't squeeze into the space between my car and the car on lane 2 and you know what? He horned me! I realised from my blind spot mirrors that I was indeed in the middle of the lane so I ignored his horns initially. However he continued to horn in an aggressive manner and I was agitated by this so I intentionally swerved to the left

Don't test my patience again or the next time you won't be so lucky to avoid a collision!..

Hanhao you never state the most impt thing -- What car do you drive? Different cars get different reactions on the roads believe me. When I see an Audi I will gladly give way no matter how small the gap. He just needs to signal that's enough. On the other hand, when I see a COE car I will put on my turbo no matter how far away I am. Lols...

Verification Needed:

As far as i know VIOS does not have Turbo version... must be illegal modification then! Darn...

 

Superchargers or Turbochargers

 

The addition of superchargers or turbochargers to a vehicle may adversely affect the safe operation and its exhaust emission characteristics. Therefore, LTA would require the following to be submitted for evaluation:

a) Technical specifications and installation details (including pictures and drawings) of the proposed supercharger or turbocharger.

b) Certification from the vehicle manufacturer stating that the supercharger or turbocharger is suitable for the vehicle on a per make and model of the vehicle.

c) Certification or test reports from LTA/NEA recognised test laboratories to show that the turbocharger or supercharger when fitted to the vehicle on a per make and model basis complied with prevailing exhaust emission standards
