Hamburger Hypersonic March 6, 2009 Share March 6, 2009 as 1 of e bros here suggested b4......they may b some truth in it. Gone r e days where immigration officer look into ur cabin 2 check fuel amt, instead their focus is on a screen. Days ago, as i was approaching, I noticed tat they were looking at another oncoming vehicle tat alerted their attention on e other lane. They gesture to e driver to slow down for a check, but later waved him on to go ahead as they realize tat it was a malaysia reg. car. Its no brainer tat these car don top up fuel over here. Seems we r missing out something here ↡ Advertisement

Hiphiphoray 6th Gear March 6, 2009 Share March 6, 2009 All lorries/buses/heavey goods vehicles are subjected to X-ray scans. Every single one of them. Its recorded into thier database somemore. There is no way to escape thier eyes. But not private cars & motorcycles. They will not do it because of sheer traffic volume. Random spot checks will do for now. Jonbummer Neutral Newbie March 6, 2009 Share March 6, 2009 my guess on why the fuel check point officer is looking at the monitor is because immigration officer in the booth who scan the passport will somehow notify the final checking point if the driver look odd / suspicious for any reasons. or they are just MSNing away.... anyway just guessing lah... if done nothing wrong, i dun bother if they stop every car everytime. Quite true. Noticed when clearing immigration, they wl key in your vehicle plate nbr. Perhaps this is to check if it is a stolen vehicle or someone ratted on the bugger for fiddling with his fuel gauge. ↡ Advertisement
