RadX Moderator March 5, 2009 Share March 5, 2009 Tought decisions. Once I assisted a RTA on the 1st lane. On hazards and immediately, swarms of motorbikes came to help...their sense of camaraderie is just amazing. .I asssited where I could and waited for ambulance....but I knew no hope...blood out from ears al. And it was a poor M'sian fella, on his way home, 3 days before Hari Raya. Well, drive safe all ↡ Advertisement

Well, drive safe all the time I stop to help, we were lucky that behind got a truck full of FTs that just finish some road work.. they took down all the cones and hazard lights/sighs and start to seal off the lane coz the bike buang.. one is a gone case, another have a broken arm.. we can't do much but to call ambulance and police.. and also wave fellow helpful drivers to continue with their journey coz help is more than enough.. I don't think car drivers are heartless but at times, it's more dangerous to come to an arupt stop for a car than a bike that can move to the side road more easily

Latka 1st Gear March 5, 2009 Share March 5, 2009 There was once a bike skidded right in front of my car (4 or 5 car lengths in front) on SLE just before Woodlands exit.....I braked, switched on hazard light and stopped to help that poor old man.....After a while, few other bikers stopped to help.....Then one of the bikers started pointing fingers at me and asked the old man was I the one who hit the him? I was like wtf..... Lucky the old man said he skidded on his own, if not, I would have been in big trouble just trying to help him......I'm still thinking of the consequences if that old man said "yes" back then...... Maybe that's the reason why some motorists refused to stop and help?? It`s a shitty feeling being falsely accused. U shud hv told him off and make him learn a lesson of finding out details first b4 accusing others. Wat an ass.
