Never had to use it. Recently tried to switch on (the left most button beside the aircon switch but indicator did not light up). Turn the air vent selector to pure heating (turn left most knob all the way clockwise) but the antifog indicator also did not light up.

 

Both aircon and antifog can switch on together right?

 

Anyone can advise if my antifog is faulty?

Left most button is the heaters for the rear windscreen On cold nights if there are condensation on the rear windscreen you will them clearing up on those heater lines.

 

Vent selector just for directing airflow for the aircon vent. That is for sending air to the front windscreen thru the vent holes on top of the dash.

Mine left 6 months. Car is still pretty reliable although mileage is high. Still Pondering whether to get a new car or renew.

See sgcarmart liao, equivalent car model are selling up to 19K, trade in value also so high meh?

I know.  I tried to depress the left most button but the indicator light did not come on.

 

So my question was if there was anything I need to do before I can turn on the heater.

Nope. Nothing additional. You could verify i cold weather if the heater actually works, maybe it is the indicator light not working. 

 

The heater does not stay on all the time. It switches itself off, i've never really tried to understand the auto switch-off mechanism, it could be timed, or base on temperature.

dealers need to hedge for depreciation as the car sits in their shop unsold. They also need to cater for some discounts from haggling. Another part is to prey on "affordability"mindset of most car owners now could barely afford a new car. The old car don't make sense to be so expensive. But when you bring it down to the first initial downpayment it is much more "affordable" than a new car.

I am going to scrap my beloved CS3  and doing a de-kit sales on the below items.

 

1. CPC5 (made in europe) tyres x 4 - 195/60 R15 :$200 (4months old only, 90% left, Mileage Used: Ard 3k+) 
2. KYB Shock Absorbers (made in japan) x 4: $200 (4mth old only, Mileage Used: Ard 3k+)
3. Supersprint Muffler: $150
4. UniChip Q: $200
5. Broquet - in line fuel catalyst (BM30) - $90

For tyres, shock absorbes and muffler, I'll need to swap with your existing stock set. Buyer can suggest mechanic for the change. Labour charge can be shared for sincere buyers.

I like to find out CS3 2009 model from C&C. What sort of transmission fluid does it use? I just got one recently and the fluid is bright pink in colour.

Answered my own question. The owner’s manual says DIAQUEEN SP3 for BOTH Auto and CVT.
